Sharks have been a hot topic through the years. They have always been surrounded by a mysterious persona which is another reason why people are so intrigued by them.

For example, sharks eat fish which fishermen like to catch so often they will be caught in the nets or even become the humans prey as they can be used to prepare a special cuisine delicacy enjoyed particularly in Asia which is known as shark fin soup.

Unfortunately, the methods used to attract sharks in their nets are nothing short of pure cruelty and barbarian. First, they will use either some frozen fishing chum or fishing chum and baits to attract the sharks. The frozen fishing chum is more practical as it can be found more easily or stored for further use compared to fresh chum and baits.

Some fishermen will even use some panfish chum recipes believing they may be more successful in attracting sharks. Then, they will proceed to the shark finning process on their prey by cutting off the fins and returning the animals to the water where they will definitely die of a cruel and painful death.

Some chefs also experiment and introduce to their customers a variety of dogfish shark recipes. Others will use sharks as a theme on which their pastries are based. For example, you can order some great white shark cakes, a hammerhead shark birthday cake, etc.

Some people will also purchase some expansive shark fishing rig to use in sport fishing which targets sharks, in particular.

As for health, there are two possible avenues that are related to sharks. For instance, if you are fishing or encounter a dogfish shark, you may need some medical treatment for spiny dogfish sting as the venom can quickly develop a painful reaction in you.

Some people also believe that using shark cartilage pills can either cure or prevent cancer while others are convinced of the multiple health benefits related to the use of shark liver oil.
